Appliqué

Appliqué is the art of sewing cut pieces of fabric onto a garment. Made popular in the college market, appliqué has found its way into other markets as well. It is well suited to sweatshirts, but has also been used successfully on T-shirts, caps and knitwear. Production time is normally 3 – 4 weeks depending on quantity and complexity of work, allowing time for making the die-cut letters or design.
